Description

Use

  • Rooftop support system for outdoor installations. (It could also be used on the floor of industrial plants indoors or outdoors)
  • For support of cable trays, cable ladders and cable conduits.
  • When used over PVC-P waterproof sheets check with technical assistance.

Advantages

  • The Rooftop supports are held in place on the roof by their own weight. It is not necessary to fix them to the floor.(1, 2)
  • Support ready-to-install.
  • Corrosion Resistant. (the rail is made in thermoplastic material U48X).
  • The rooftop support is insulating, electrically separates the cable trays from the roof surface and does not require earthing.
  • CE marking acc. IEC 61537 compliance. Loads of the supports tested according to the same international standard of LV cable trays.
  • Good fire performance. Combination of Halogen free thermoplastic compound U48X own formulated rail, concrete base and rubber bottom.
  • Immediate availability from our logistics center thanks to a complete stock of all the parts.

Design

  • Safe, easy and quick mounting.
  • Provided with an insulating rail made with solid walls and manufactured by extrusion. It is compatible with spring strut nut M8 ref. 60710-A4 and ref. 60710-C6 or other standard channel nut 41 acc. to BS 6946.
  • Absence of sharp edges or pressure points which might damage the rooftop layer.
  • Rubber bottom avoids damage to the rooftop layer and ensures a good friction coefficient.
  • Good performance with exposure to the UVs and to the elements.

Mounting instructions

  • To fulfil the characteristics defined herein, the installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer`s assembly instructions provided in the main product packaging and also available on the website www.unex.net.

Product composition

  • Raw material: Rail in U48X + base in concrete + bottom in rubber.
