Description

Use

  • Indoor applications.
  • Surface mounted connection boxes on walls and ceilings for wiring of power and communication cables.
  • Compatible with any common cable management system on the market : trunking, pipes and cables.
  • Possibility of surface mounting in corners and ceilings. The design of the connection boxes allows the cover to be mounted and dismounted in hard-to-access installations.

Installation

  • External lid and fittings are pressured mounted. Removable only with the aid of a tool.
  • Screws can be inserted into the cover if desired. Drilling is easy using the marks found on each corner of the inside of the cover. The necessary screws are not supplied with the product. DIN 7981 2.9x13 screws are recommended.
  • Smooth walls allow access cuts to be made freely, depending on the ducting installed.
  • The design ensures the robustness of the connection box, even after the entry/exit openings have been made.
  • The small boxes have slots in the base to integrate channels 78 and 73 and have through holes for Ø4mm drill bits to facilitate wall mounting.
  • The 110x150x65 box is blind at the base to allow suspended mounting on the sides of 73 ducts and 66 trays, ensuring the degrees of protection.
  • The orientation of the holes allows the connection box to be aligned during assembly.

Mounting instructions

  • To fulfil the characteristics defined herein, the installation must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer`s assembly instructions provided in the main product packaging and are also available on the website www.unex.net.
